The Spicy Brown & Sauerkraut Dog

  1. In a saucepan on medium heat, add the sauerkraut. Cook for 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat to low once the sauerkraut is warm.
  2. Add water to a skillet over medium-high heat, covering surface with half an inch of water. Heat until water starts to boil.
  3. Add hot dogs to skillet and roll frequently until browned on all sides.
  4. Remove from skillet and place hot dogs in buns. Add a heaping scoop of sauerkraut and drizzle with spicy brown mustard.
