The Green Chili & Guacamole Dog

  • 4 Miller's Beef Franks "The Colossal"
  • 4 hot dog buns
  • 2 tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 cup canned mild green chilis, drained
  • 8 slices colby jack cheese
  • 1/2 cup pico de gallo
  • 1 cup gaucamole
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup cilantro, finely chopped
  1. Split hot dogs down the middle with a knife, lengthwise. Try not to cut all the way through, so the two sides of the hot dog are still slightly attached.
  2. Preheat the oven to broil.
  3. In a skillet on medium heat, sear hot dogs open-side face down for 4-6 minutes, or until browned. Flip dogs and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  4. Brush inside of hot dog buns with olive oil. Layer two slices of cheese on each bun and place in oven for 1-2 minutes, or until cheese is melted. Remove from oven.
  5. Place hot dogs in buns, top with guacamole, pico de gallo, green chilis, sour cream and a sprinkle of fresh cilantro.
