4 Servings

Ingredients

  • 4 Miller’s Polish Sausages
  • 1 sourdough loaf baguette, cut into hot dog length
  • 1 head of garlic
  • 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 3 tbsp. olive oil, divided into three
Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°.

  2. Slice off the top each head of garlic to expose some of the cloves inside. Place the heads on a piece of foil. Drizzle with olive oil and wrap in the foil. Roast until cloves are lightly browned and tender, about 30 minutes.

  3. Remove roasted garlic cloves from peels and place in a small mixing bowl. Mash with a fork and add some olive oil. Continue stirring until mixed evenly to make a roasted garlic paste.

  4. In a separate skillet over medium-high heat, add water to cover surface with half an inch of water. Heat until water starts to boil.

  5. Add hot dogs and roll frequently until browned on all sides.

  6. Preheat oven to broil.

  7. Slice bread like a sandwich roll and brush inside of each with the rest of the olive oil. Place in oven for 2-3 minutes, or until bread rolls slightly brown.

  8. Spread roasted garlic paste on each toasted sandwich roll.

  9. Place hot dogs in sandwich rolls. Finish off with a couple sun-dried tomatoes and little fresh parmesan cheese.
