The Cuban Dog

  • 4 Miller's Polish Sausage
  • 4 hot dog buns
  • 8-12 slices of deli ham
  • 8 slices swiss cheese
  • 4 pickle planks
  • 4 tbsp.  mustard

  1. Preheat outdoor gas grill to medium heat. If using a charcoal grill, arrange coals to one side of grill to create a direct(high heat) and indirect(low heat) cooking areas.

  2. Place hot dogs on indirect cooking area and cook for 4-7 minutes, turning often. Remove once hot dogs are grilled to your liking.

  3. Open hot dog buns, place two slices of cheese into each bun and add slices of deli ham. Wrap loosely with aluminum foil, and place on indirect cooking area for 2-3 minutes.

  4. Remove buns from grill, discard foil and place a polish dog in each. Top with a pickle plank and a drizzle of mustard.
