Ingredients

  • 6 Millers Beef Franks “The Standard”
  • 2 cups cooked elbow macaroni or favorite pasta
  • 4 tbsp. melted butter
  • 2 tbsp. all-purpose flour
  • 1 2/3 cup milk
  • 1/3 cup half and half
  • 3 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 2 tbsp. italian parsley, chopped for garnish
Directions

  1. Pre-heat oven to 325ºF
  2. Cook macaroni to al dente, according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  3. Cook hot dogs in medium skillet on medium heat 2 to 3 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove and set aside.
  4. In same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Blend in the flour. Cook for 2 minutes.
  5. Slowly add the milk and half and half, stirring constantly, and cook over medium-low heat for 2-3 minutes until the mixture is just barely thickened. Remove from heat and stir in 1 cup of shredded cheese, stirring until just melted.
  6. Add the cooked macaroni and beef franks and toss to coat. Pour half of the pasta mixture into a lightly greased baking dish. Sprinkle 1/2 cup cheese over the top. Add remaining pasta mixture and sprinkle with remaining cheese.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until cheese is melted on top.
  8. Serve warm and garnish with parsley.
